The time is now!! We must shift writing from the back burner if our students are to become proficient writers. Using DOK, participants will look at how to incorporate writing and literacy standards in daily lessons through different modes of writing. Teachers must engage students in the writing process at all levels. They must implement strategies and activities that develop writing skills as we prepare students to meet the College and Career Ready Standards, regardless of grade level.
